“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.” (2Cor.8:9)

Thanks for wanting to know more about how we fund our work. Our churches are all small independent charities, and depend entirely on the sacrificial generosity and faith of their congregations, gifts from visitors and legacies to fund the work that they do. Contrary to popular belief, we receive no funding from the government or from the Church of England nationally.

From the money raised we pay for our clergy, fund our work with adults and young people, and maintain the fabric of our buildings. Where possible we try to give a little away to good causes both in the UK and abroad.

If you’d like to play a part in our work, this is a great place to start.
